How to Install libc6 software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

libc6 software package provides Embedded GNU C Library: Shared libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libc6

libc6 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libc6 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libc6 *

You will get with libc6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
