How to uninstall or remove libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc

Uninstall libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc

Use Purging libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc

If you use with purge options to libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcatalyst-plugin-log-dispatc
