gstreamer1.0-gnonlin software package provides non-linear editing module for GStreamer, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gstreamer1.0-gnonlin
gstreamer1.0-gnonlin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gstreamer1.0-gnonlin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gstreamer1.0-gnonlin *
You will get with gstreamer1.0-gnonlin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
