cacti-cactid software package provides virtual package provided by cacti-spine, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cacti-cactid
cacti-cactid is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cacti-cactid package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cacti-cactid*
You will get with cacti-cactid package name, version, architecture and description in a table
