emacs23-gtk software package provides virtual package provided by emacs23, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install emacs23-gtk
emacs23-gtk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the emacs23-gtk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep emacs23-gtk*
You will get with emacs23-gtk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
