libgd-perl software package provides Perl module wrapper for libgd, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgd-perl
libgd-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgd-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgd-perl *
You will get with libgd-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
