How to uninstall or remove libgap-sage-4 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libgap-sage-4 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libgap-sage-4

Uninstall libgap-sage-4 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libgap-sage-4 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgap-sage-4

Use Purging libgap-sage-4

If you use with purge options to libgap-sage-4 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libgap-sage-4

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgap-sage-4
