libftdi1-2 software package provides Library to control and program the FTDI USB controllers, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libftdi1-2
libftdi1-2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libftdi1-2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libftdi1-2 *
You will get with libftdi1-2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
