libfap6 software package provides APRS Parser, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfap6
libfap6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfap6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfap6 *
You will get with libfap6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
