libexiv2-dev software package provides EXIF/IPTC/XMP metadata manipulation library - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libexiv2-dev
libexiv2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libexiv2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libexiv2-dev *
You will get with libexiv2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
