How to uninstall or remove libcusparse8.0 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libcusparse8.0 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcusparse8.0

Uninstall libcusparse8.0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcusparse8.0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcusparse8.0

Use Purging libcusparse8.0

If you use with purge options to libcusparse8.0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcusparse8.0

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcusparse8.0
