How to uninstall or remove libcnoid1 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libcnoid1 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcnoid1 

Uninstall libcnoid1 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcnoid1 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcnoid1 
Use Purging libcnoid1

If you use with purge options to libcnoid1 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcnoid1 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcnoid1
