How to uninstall or remove libcapnp-0.5.3 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libcapnp-0.5.3 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcapnp-0.5.3

Uninstall libcapnp-0.5.3 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcapnp-0.5.3 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcapnp-0.5.3

Use Purging libcapnp-0.5.3

If you use with purge options to libcapnp-0.5.3 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcapnp-0.5.3

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcapnp-0.5.3
