How to uninstall or remove libcacard-tools software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libcacard-tools package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcacard-tools

Uninstall libcacard-tools including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcacard-tools and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcacard-tools

Use Purging libcacard-tools

If you use with purge options to libcacard-tools package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcacard-tools

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcacard-tools
