How to uninstall or remove libbiometryd1 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libbiometryd1 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libbiometryd1

Uninstall libbiometryd1 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libbiometryd1 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbiometryd1

Use Purging libbiometryd1

If you use with purge options to libbiometryd1 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libbiometryd1

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbiometryd1
