How to uninstall or remove libaunit3.7.2 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libaunit3.7.2 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libaunit3.7.2

Uninstall libaunit3.7.2 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libaunit3.7.2 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libaunit3.7.2

Use Purging libaunit3.7.2

If you use with purge options to libaunit3.7.2 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libaunit3.7.2

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libaunit3.7.2
