How to uninstall or remove libasynccpp1.4 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libasynccpp1.4 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libasynccpp1.4

Uninstall libasynccpp1.4 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libasynccpp1.4 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libasynccpp1.4

Use Purging libasynccpp1.4

If you use with purge options to libasynccpp1.4 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libasynccpp1.4

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libasynccpp1.4
