libanyevent-xmpp-perl software package provides implementation of the XMPP Protocol, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libanyevent-xmpp-perl
libanyevent-xmpp-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libanyevent-xmpp-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libanyevent-xmpp-perl *
You will get with libanyevent-xmpp-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
