lib3ds-dev software package provides Autodesk 3D Studio file reader development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lib3ds-dev
lib3ds-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lib3ds-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lib3ds-dev *
You will get with lib3ds-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
