How to uninstall or remove kmail software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed kmail package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove kmail

Uninstall kmail including dependent package

If you would like to remove kmail and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kmail
Use Purging kmail

If you use with purge options to kmail package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge kmail

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kmail
