kde-thumbnailer-openoffice software package provides KDE plugin to show thumbnails of OpenOffice.org files, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kde-thumbnailer-openoffice
kde-thumbnailer-openoffice is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kde-thumbnailer-openoffice package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kde-thumbnailer-openoffice *
You will get with kde-thumbnailer-openoffice package name, version, architecture and description in a table
