jo software package provides command-line processor to output JSON from a shell, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jo
jo is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jo package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jo *
You will get with jo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
