jack-midi-clock software package provides JACK client that sends MIDI beat clock pulses, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jack-midi-clock
jack-midi-clock is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jack-midi-clock package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jack-midi-clock *
You will get with jack-midi-clock package name, version, architecture and description in a table
