httpfs2 software package provides FUSE filesystem for mounting files from http servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install httpfs2
httpfs2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the httpfs2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep httpfs2 *
You will get with httpfs2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
