hexchat-otr software package provides hexchat plugin to support Off The Record (OTR), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hexchat-otr
hexchat-otr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hexchat-otr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hexchat-otr *
You will get with hexchat-otr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
