hesiod software package provides Project Athena's DNS-based directory service - utilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hesiod
hesiod is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hesiod package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hesiod *
You will get with hesiod package name, version, architecture and description in a table
