hdmi2usb-udev software package provides udev rules for HDMI2USB devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hdmi2usb-udev
hdmi2usb-udev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hdmi2usb-udev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hdmi2usb-udev *
You will get with hdmi2usb-udev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
