How to Install grads software package in Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

grads software package provides Grid Analysis and Display System for earth science data, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install grads

grads is installed in your system.

Make ensure the grads package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grads *

You will get with grads package name, version, architecture and description in a table
