How to uninstall or remove gpgv1 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gpgv1 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gpgv1

Uninstall gpgv1 including dependent package

If you would like to remove gpgv1 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gpgv1
Use Purging gpgv1

If you use with purge options to gpgv1 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gpgv1

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gpgv1
