golang-github-hpcloud-tail-dev software package provides Go library for reading from continuously updated files, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-hpcloud-tail-dev
golang-github-hpcloud-tail-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-hpcloud-tail-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-hpcloud-tail-dev*
