gnustep-base-common software package provides GNUstep Base library - common files, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnustep-base-common
gnustep-base-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnustep-base-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnustep-base-common *
You will get with gnustep-base-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
