gnubg software package provides graphical or console backgammon program with analysis, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnubg
gnubg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnubg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnubg *
You will get with gnubg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
