git-repair software package provides repair various forms of damage to git repositories, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git-repair
git-repair is installed in your system.
Make ensure the git-repair package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git-repair *
You will get with git-repair package name, version, architecture and description in a table
