gis-remotesensing software package provides Remote sensing and earth observation, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gis-remotesensing
gis-remotesensing is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gis-remotesensing package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gis-remotesensing *
You will get with gis-remotesensing package name, version, architecture and description in a table
