ghostscript software package provides interpreter for the PostScript language and for PDF, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ghostscript
ghostscript is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ghostscript package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ghostscript *
You will get with ghostscript package name, version, architecture and description in a table
