How to Install gdm software package in Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

gdm software package provides GNOME Display Manager (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gdm 

gdm is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gdm package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gdm *

You will get with gdm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
