gajim-omemo software package provides Gajim plugin for OMEMO Multi-End Message and Object Encryption, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gajim-omemo
gajim-omemo is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gajim-omemo package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gajim-omemo *
You will get with gajim-omemo package name, version, architecture and description in a table
