How to uninstall or remove freeciv-client-gtk3 software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed freeciv-client-gtk3 package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove freeciv-client-gtk3 

Uninstall freeciv-client-gtk3 including dependent package

If you would like to remove freeciv-client-gtk3 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freeciv-client-gtk3 
Use Purging freeciv-client-gtk3

If you use with purge options to freeciv-client-gtk3 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge freeciv-client-gtk3 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freeciv-client-gtk3
