fonts-dejavu-core software package provides Vera font family derivate with additional characters, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-dejavu-core
fonts-dejavu-core is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-dejavu-core package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-dejavu-core *
You will get with fonts-dejavu-core package name, version, architecture and description in a table
