How to uninstall or remove floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp

Uninstall floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp including dependent package

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp

Use Purging floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp

If you use with purge options to floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove floppy-modules-4.8.0-26-powerp
