ext4magic software package provides recover deleted files from ext3 or ext4 partitions, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ext4magic
ext4magic is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ext4magic package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ext4magic *
You will get with ext4magic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
