exiftags software package provides utility to read Exif tags from a digital camera JPEG file, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install exiftags
exiftags is installed in your system.
Make ensure the exiftags package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep exiftags *
You will get with exiftags package name, version, architecture and description in a table
