epub-utils software package provides tools to work with the EPUB file format, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install epub-utils
epub-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the epub-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep epub-utils *
You will get with epub-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
