elpa-org-bullets software package provides show bullets in Org-mode as UTF-8 characters, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install elpa-org-bullets
elpa-org-bullets is installed in your system.
Make ensure the elpa-org-bullets package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep elpa-org-bullets *
You will get with elpa-org-bullets package name, version, architecture and description in a table
