egctl software package provides control state of EnerGenie Programmable surge protector, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install egctl
egctl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the egctl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep egctl *
You will get with egctl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
