dmtcp-dbg software package provides Debug package for dmtcp, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dmtcp-dbg
dmtcp-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dmtcp-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dmtcp-dbg *
You will get with dmtcp-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
