dicom3tools software package provides DICOM medical image files manipulation and conversion tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dicom3tools
dicom3tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dicom3tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dicom3tools *
You will get with dicom3tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
