How to uninstall or remove dasd-extra-modules-4.8.0-26-ge software package from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dasd-extra-modules-4.8.0-26-ge package itself from Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dasd-extra-modules-4.8.0-26-ge

Uninstall dasd-extra-modules-4.8.0-26-ge including dependent package

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dasd-extra-modules-4.8.0-26-ge

Use Purging dasd-extra-modules-4.8.0-26-ge

If you use with purge options to dasd-extra-modules-4.8.0-26-ge package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dasd-extra-modules-4.8.0-26-ge

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.
