daemonize software package provides tool to run a command as a daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install daemonize
daemonize is installed in your system.
Make ensure the daemonize package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep daemonize *
You will get with daemonize package name, version, architecture and description in a table
