cutadapt software package provides Clean biological sequences from high-throughput sequencing reads, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cutadapt
cutadapt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cutadapt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cutadapt *
You will get with cutadapt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
